“The first words that come to mind when I think of Julie are curious, engaged, open and brilliant listener. She has an uncanny ability to ask just the right question to get you thinking in a wholly unique and thoughtful way and our conversations always lead to hidden gems I didn’t even know were there.”

Jamie Greenwood, Life Coach and Emotional Resilience Strategist

8 years ago, Lisa Valerio had an epic dream: creating a resort in the Philippines where her autistic son could swim and where the resort could employ people of all abilities. With seeds planted from our work together, she realized that dream in Punta de Gloria Resort and the Fenixia Foundation.

Spark Your E.P.I.C. Life:
Choose your own adventure

Modeled after my own experience, I designed the signature four-session coaching series, “Spark Your E.P.I.C. Life” to help you get clear on your future vision, assess your life in the present across the E.P.I.C. guideposts, and plant seeds of intention that lead to action to bridge the gap between the two.

It’s a powerful journey that you can repeat again and again. And now, there are 3 ways you can experience the series. You choose which one best meets your needs!

THE MOTHER’S QUEST VIRTUAL CIRCLE

The Mother’s Quest Circle provides inspiration, coaching and community for an intimate group of no more than 8 women who are ready to say “yes” to:

  • Reflect together, in a community of like-minded mothers, on what matters most
  • To consciously live a more E.P.I.C. life
  • To take bold action toward one of the E.P.I.C. life guideposts before the end of the session
  • To hold space for sharing, coaching, and championing one another so we are “in community” on our journey.

ONE-ON-ONE COACHING

A deeply personal experience for those who enjoy working the personal attention of working directly with a coach in a focused way. Following the same four-session Spark Your E.P.I.C. Life Series, we first connect you to your future vision, then use the Mother’s Quest’s E.P.I.C. Life Framework to assess what you want more of and less of in your life according to the key guideposts, and then help you move into action to achieve it. Working together, you can get clear and connected to a vision of your life filled with the things that matter most. Coaching can also be customized if desired.

THE SPARK YOUR E.P.I.C. LIFE GROUP PROGRAM

Coming May 2020

Experience the signature offer at the most affordable price with a larger group of like-minded women. You can join our 4 virtual sessions live or catch a replay. Lifetime access gives you the opportunity to also follow along at whatever pace works best for you and to join each spring for a “live round.”

Julie Neale led Adult Reflection circles at the school I was leading for years. The beautiful way in which she held space for our teachers to practice open and direct communication, curiosity and care for each other was transformative for my staff. Julie brings a brilliant mixture of belief in people, and the ability to delve into uncomfortable yet deep waters to her work with teams. She is not afraid to ask hard questions and be vulnerable with herself. The way she models the practices of adult reflection gives others the courage and wisdom to do the same. I have been so grateful for her steady, thoughtful and always prepared hands!

   virtual “milestone hike”

In order to start a new chapter well, you need to thoughtfully close the one before. If you’re on the verge of a major transition or milestone in your life or the life of your children, carving space to think about where you’ve come from, what you want to leave behind and take with you, and what your vision is for your future can be an incredibly powerful gift. Building on my experience leading milestone hikes in person, this “virtual hike,” facilitated via Zoom, draws on the imagery of nature and the ascent and descent of a summit to help you make meaning of your life. Also a wonderful experience to “gift” someone special.

My work with Julie has been life-changing.

Before we started working together, I was on a quest to resolve what felt like a total bifurcation of my mom voice from my professional life and pathway- which was a bit bananas given that I was working in family health.

I loved Julie’s framework – the E.P.I.C. life. I loved her politics – embracing social justice. And I loved how clearly skilled and inclusive Julie was and is. I also deeply appreciated her integration of technology – her services/programs are completely accessible to a busy working single mama.

After our time together, I started a non-profit based on my experiences as a medical mom. I leveraged that voice and perspective to:

  • win first place in NIH Rare Disease PR Campaign
  • get an appointment as the parent voice on a State of California Children’s Health Advisory Panel for Medicaid policy and spending
  • and take a role on the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Family Advisory Council.

I am incredibly grateful for getting to work with Julie. I love the parts of myself that make me a good mom (glitter, gratitude, and whimsy) and it’s truly been a joy to bring those parts of myself front and center into my work and advocacy.”

We started working with Julie as we were re-branding Democracy Clothing, preparing to launch a direct to consumer e-commerce website, and ramping up our social media channels. We wanted to take our social media messaging in a direction that was not common in the fashion brand space by connecting to “influencers of substance” – mothers primarily who were making a positive contribution to society. Julie curated an amazing group of women leaders who we were able to partner with because of her wide reach and expertise in this area.

Julie is incredibly thoughtful and an amazing listener. She asks insightful and meaningful questions and digs deep. In her need to understand, she has the ability to switch on lights and trigger ideas that would not have existed without her input.

I would tell anyone who asked to absolutely work with Julie. She is a true coach, with the ability to help her clients achieve their goals. Whether her client is a $100 million company, a woman wanting to reinvent herself, or a mom who needs support with life and kids, she has the tools to help you fine-tune your own thinking and positively approach any challenge. She is supportive and understanding, sees the potential in every idea, and helps with the necessary clarity to map out a go-forward plan.
